This will be videoed for an episode of Trapping inc TV Season 8, by entering you are agreeing to being on TV. Supporters can enter once. Since this is a membership drive to grow our community supporters can earn bonus entries by bringing new supporters to the community. Each new supporter that lets us know who referred them gets the referring supporter another entry! Winners must get to and from Grande Prairie Alberta at their own cost. Winners will be picked up in Grande Prairie all travel food and accommodations to the trapline and back will be provided. Winner must be fit enough to survive! LOL

 

We take our lifestyle for granted but it is not what most are expecting. There is no running water, the bathroom is an outhouse. We are told its not as glamourous as it sounds but there is never a line up from folks lingering. You will have your own cabin and we will supply sleeping bags that are too heavy for northerners to use. You must tend your own wood stove, firewood heat is the only heat we have. There will be a big supply of firewood on your front porch. Sandi can teach life sustaining pyromania. 

 

You need to bring appropriate clothes, boots, and outerwear. You will have a snowmobile to drive. You must be fit enough to handle it and 8 hours a day on the trail checking traps. Nobody needs Sleep Eze or lullabies for a good night’s sleep. Some guests fall asleep during supper. 

 

Drawing will be September 1, 2021. Trip is scheduled for the first 2 weeks of December 2021 allowing for weather, border opening or other unforeseen circumstances. The trip date can be rescheduled by mutual agreement, this is the time frame is when all species are open, and the line is the busiest.
